MN Spice offers competitive travel softball opportunities for players in high school-aged divisions, with teams typically competing in 14-18U classifications.
Teams are formed based on a combination of skill evaluations, positional needs, and player availability for the season. Rosters are generally capped at 12–13 players to maximize playing time and ensure competitive opportunities for all athletes.
MN Spice is designed to provide competitive play without excessive demands. Players can expect:
Fall: 1 practice and 4 league dates + 2 tournaments over 5–6 weeks
Winter: 1 practice and 1 game per week over 10 weeks
Summer: 2 practices and 1 game per week, plus tournaments
Fall: 1x a week at Lions Park in Victoria
Winter: Park Center Dome, practice TBD
Summer: Twice weekly at Armstrong HS, Park Center, or Lions Park in Victoria
MN Spice competes in a mix of Minnesota Softball, USSSA, and regional tournaments. These include:
MN Softball Fall State Tournament
USSSA Fall State Tournament
Dome League in winter, MLK and President’s Day Tournaments
Summer tournaments in Eagan, Marshall, Mankato, Morris, and potential state/national events
Our program fee is less than most competitive travel programs in the region. The cost covers tournaments, uniforms, practice gear, facility rentals, and other program expenses. For exact details, please fill out our Interest Form and Head Coach Tarek Morey will connect with you.
