"I wanted to build a program where players are developed, families feel valued, and every athlete has the opportunity to reach her potential."

While competition is an important part of the game, Tarek believes the best programs are measured by more than trophies. They're measured by the impact they have on the athletes who wear the uniform. That philosophy has become the foundation of Minnesota Spice.

"Our goal isn't to label players," Tarek explains. "It's to put them in an environment where they'll be challenged, gain confidence, and continue growing."

That philosophy also extends to families. Open communication, mutual respect, and a positive culture are all part of what Coach Tarek believes creates a successful program.

Building Something Bigger

Ask Tarek what success looks like, and the answer goes beyond the scoreboard. Success is watching a player who once lacked confidence become a leader. It's seeing teammates encourage one another after a tough inning. It's hearing former players talk about the friendships they built and the lessons they still carry with them. Those moments are what continue to drive the program forward.

As Minnesota Spice prepares for another season, the mission remains unchanged: provide quality coaching, create meaningful relationships, and help athletes become the best version of themselves both on and off the field.
